Doing more with less
Isn’t possible.
However, the paradox that most organisations miss is that when they commit to doing less, they create the conditions which allow employees to do more.
When we sprint from task to task, juggling our endless to-do lists, we're not actually moving forward. We're just moving. Sometimes sideways and often backwards.
Yet when we focus on one thing at a time (rather than unproductively task-switching) then something magical happens.
Space appears. Not just on your calendar, but in your head. The mental overhead of carrying around nine other half-finished tasks evaporates and a sense of achievement and control returns.
The question shouldn't be: "How can we do more with less?"
The question should be: "What's the one thing worth doing right?"
Complete, then repeat.
